Mr John Abu Jinapor, the Minister of Energy and Green Transition, has asked Mr Mark Awuah Baah, the CEO of Ghana Grid Company Limited (GRIDCo) to step aside pending investigations into fire incident at Akosombo power control centre.
A statement issued by Mr Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Presidential Spokesman and Minister of State in-charge of Government Communications, said also, there had been a major shake-up in the leadership of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) in the Ashanti Region.
It said at 014 hours on Monday, April 27, Mr John Jinapor the Minister of Energy and Green Transition, would hold a major briefing on recent developments in electricity distribution.
